Sometimes you don't want to wait three weeks for an appointment. You've got the idea, you've got the afternoon, and you want it done today.
Santana Studio Co takes walk-in tattoos at our Boat Club Rd studio in northwest Fort Worth, subject to artist availability. The fastest way to find out if we can take you right now is to call or text (817) 350-4414 — we'll tell you straight away which artist has an opening and roughly how long the wait is.
How walk-ins actually work here
- Call or text first if you can. Not required, but it saves you a drive. Availability changes through the day depending on which artists are booked.
- Bring valid photo ID. You must be 18 or over. No exceptions, no matter how small the piece.
- Small and medium pieces are the realistic same-day options. Fine line work, lettering, small blackwork, simple color pieces, and flash designs can usually be done in one sitting.
- Large custom work needs a consultation. Sleeves, back pieces, and detailed portraits require design time before the needle. We can start that conversation the same day, but the tattoo gets booked.
- Bring a reference. Even a rough phone photo. It cuts the design conversation from thirty minutes to five and gets you in the chair faster.
We're open seven days a week
- Monday – Friday: 10:00am – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Earlier in the day generally gives you the best chance of catching an open chair — but call or text and we'll tell you exactly what today looks like.
What you can get done same day
- Fine line and script — small delicate pieces, dates, names, meaningful text
- Small black & grey — symbols, small florals, ornamental work
- Color pieces — smaller watercolor, anime, and pop-culture designs
- Flash — pre-drawn designs ready to go, usually the fastest option in the shop
- Touch-ups and small additions to existing work
How to prepare before you come in
A little prep makes a same-day tattoo go much better:
- Eat a real meal beforehand — low blood sugar in the chair is the main reason people feel faint
- Stay hydrated
- Skip alcohol for 24 hours; it thins your blood and makes the tattoo harder to do well
- Wear clothing that gives easy access to the area you're getting tattooed
- Bring your ID

Walk-in availability depends on which of our artists is free. Our resident team covers black and grey realism, fine line, color, anime and pop culture, and traditional work, so there's usually someone who fits what you're after — see the full artist roster and styles here. If your idea needs a specific artist, it's worth booking rather than walking in.

Call or text and describe it. We'll tell you honestly whether it's a same-day piece or something that deserves proper design time. We'd rather tell you to come back later in the week with a real plan than rush a tattoo you'll live with forever.
